5 MUST WATCH ACTION MOVIES

If you're the kind who'd thinks that an asteroid collision is actually "cool", then you got to watch these movies! And chances are that you have probably already watched these movies, but if not, trust me you have missed a lot of fun. So try these out...


1. ARMAGEDDON - (1998)

It is just another day at NASA, a few astronauts were repairing a satellite until, out of nowhere, a series of asteroids came crashing into the shuttle, destroying it. These asteroids also decimated New York soon thereafter. Then, NASA discovered that there is an asteroid roughly the size of Texas heading towards the Earth, and when it does hit the Earth, the planet itself and all of its inhabitants will be obliterated, worse, the asteroid will hit the Earth in 18 days. Unfortunately, NASA's plans to destroy the asteroid are irrelevant. What then? ...Watch it to know it :)

2. PEARL HARBOR (2001)

Pearl Harbor is a classic tale of romance set during a war that complicates everything. It all starts when childhood friends Rafe and Danny become Army Air Corps pilots and meet Evelyn, a Navy nurse. Rafe falls head over heels and next thing you know Evelyn and Rafe are hooking up. Then Rafe volunteers to go fight in Britain and Evelyn and Danny get transferred to Pearl Harbor. While Rafe is off fighting everything gets completely whack and next thing you know everybody is in the middle of an air raid we now know as "Pearl Harbor."

3. U 571 (2000)

  In the midst of World War II, the battle below the      seas rages. The Nazi's have the upper edge as the         Allies are unable to crack their war codes. That is, until a wrecked U-boat sends out an SOS signal, and the Allies realize this is their chance to seize the 'enigma coding machine'. But masquerading as Nazi's and taking over the U-boat is the smallest of their problems. The action really begins when they get stranded on the U-boat.

4. THE RED BARON (2008)

Baron Manfred von Richthofen is the most feared and celebrated pilot of the German air force in World War I. To him and his companions, air combats are events of sporty nature, technical challenge and honorable acting, ignoring the terrible extent of war. But after falling in love with the nurse Käte, Manfred realizes he is only used for propaganda means. Caught between his disgust for the war, and the responsibility for his fighter wing, von Richthofen sets out to fly again.

5. TEKKEN BLOOD VENGEANCE (2011)

Well this one's in Japanese. But hey! The action is all worth watching it with subtitles guys! Umm...and it is an animation. So, maybe you wont really wanna watch it but really, I loved this one. I loved the character 'Alisa'...she's cute :)
